Chemical Peel

A Chemical peel also known as chemexfoliation or derma-peeling can whisk away dead skin cells and impurities to leave skin fresher and brighter.  It also encourages the growth of fresh skin cells, reduces acne and minor sun damage.  It is excellent combined with a microdermabrasion.  

Chemical peels are primarily performed on the face, neck and hands.  The primary reason to have a chemical peel is for cosmetic reasons although in some instances they can be performed to remove areas of sun damage, which could contain pre-cancerous keratoses that can appear as scaly spots.
